I've walked past this location many times, although, this day the scaffolds' barrier facade was knocked loose revealing a lost bit of history. Bas-relief lettering. Poignant reminder of days gone by. It's in dire need of restoration. One day perhaps. One day when we as a people, a Nation are no longer dependent upon foreign oil and Obama is elected President can we change from the top down... The structure, was once a Public School (PS122). Now a Stage Theatre among other things. The image and its true meaning has been brought to my attention from a very special friend. It's been (clicked) for eternity. And my thanks goes to her vision. Onward...
